Sam Gerry believes everyone deserves the opportunity to better understand their financial life, regardless of where they are in the planning process. He believes financial planning should be approachable, understandable, and centered on the individual.

Sam earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and has built his career around a passion for financial markets and helping people make informed decisions. He is committed to continually expanding his knowledge and believes clients benefit from a collaborative approach, drawing on the experience and perspectives of the Goldstone team to help support their financial goals.

Known for his calm and approachable demeanor, Sam believes listening is one of the most important parts of financial planning. He takes time to understand what’s happening in a person’s life—not just financially, but personally—because he believes those conversations build stronger relationships and more meaningful financial plans.

Away from the office, Sam enjoys spending time with his wife and family, including his four siblings and two nieces. He also volunteers as an assistant golf coach for the Wheaton North High School varsity golf team and enjoys spending time outdoors, especially golfing with his brothers.

Sam believes a retirement worth living is one where people have the confidence to focus less on financial uncertainty and more on the people, experiences, and moments that matter most.
